sales@rangeproducts.com.au Repeated hand washing, regularly using hand sanitiser and now the colder weather can really take a toll on your nails, leaving them dehydrated, peeling and brittle. Nails often get forgotten when we think about moisturising but they actually dry out more quickly than our skin does, so it is just as important to look after them.
Here is a lovely oil blend we have put together to help to nourish your nails and leave them protected.
-50ml Jojoba oil, its packed full of fatty acids and a must for any nail treatment. It is deeply hydrating and naturally moisturising. It will help to thicken, soften and condition cuticles and nails, improve density of the nails and help to restore damaged collagen inside the nail bed.
-30ml Sweet almond oil, full of the goodness of fatty acids, vitamins A, E and Bs1,2 and 6. It will help to strengthen brittle nails, promote healing and nail growth while leaving the nails protected from breakage and peeling, as well as a healthy shine.
-20ml Argan oil, used by manicurists and in salons it is abundant in essential fatty acids and a great moisture booster. It is high in vitamin E for healing and protecting cuticles and increasing the nails strength and suppleness.
-30drops Lemon oil. Anti-bacterial and anti-fungal, lemon oil is also rich in antioxidants and vitamin C, needed for the collagen production essential for strong, healthy nails.
-20drops Grapefruit oil, it will help to stimulate nail growth and moisturise cuticles.
-10drops Myrrh oil, great for preventing nails from becoming dry, thin and brittle. It promotes nail growth and healthy nails and cuticles.
Add all these oils into a glass bottle or jar and mix together well. Then massage it into the nails and cuticles daily to give them a little nurturing this winter.
